APH Raises $352,000 for Adults with Disabilities

The money raised will go toward supporting WACOSA, which supports adults with disabilities in central Minnesota.

Automotive Parts Headquarters’ (APH) annual fundraiser for adults with disabilities was recently held and all donations were once again matched by both APH and the Bartlett family, pushing this year’s amount to $352,000 and 10-year grand total to nearly $1.9 million. The money raised will go toward supporting WACOSA and its day programs that provide meaningful work for more than 650 adults with disabilities in central Minnesota.

To celebrate and recognize the many supplier partners that supported this year’s fundraiser, John and Nancy Bartlett hosted a cocktail reception and lobster dinner at their home. The get-together culminated with a check presented to Steve Howard, executive director of WACOSA.

“The impact of this amazing donation led yearly by the Bartlett family and APH, changes lives in so many wonderful and productive ways,” said Howard. “No matter the barrier an individual may have, the gift of these dollars to WACOSA provides the customized structural, physical and very personal support people need to help each achieve their personal goals and objectives one dream at a time.”

“I am once again amazed by the support we’ve received, especially during yet another challenging year,” said Corey Bartlett, president and CEO of APH. “Every dollar raised will go a long way toward advancing WACOSA’s mission. Simply put, we couldn’t be more proud of and thankful for our supplier partners.”

The annual fundraiser is co-chaired by Jay Knopick, Action Sales + Marketing; Mark Hoffman, East Penn Manufacturing; John Oster, Tall Sales; Pat Ryan, NorthPro Representatives; Gary Stumm, WIX Filters; and Brad Johnson, N.A. Williams.
