AP Exhaust Technologies Acquires the Assets of ANSA Automotive Parts Distributors

Sale finalized on Dec. 23, 2011, includes all ANSA assets, which have been relocated to AP Exhaust's headquarters in Goldsboro, N.C.

SAN RAFAEL, Calif. – AP Exhaust Technologies of Goldsboro, N.C., a global leader in exhaust and emissions products, has acquired the assets of ANSA Automotive Parts Distributors Inc. (ANSA), of Macon, Ga. The sale was finalized on Dec. 23, 2011, and was brokered by Marx Group Advisors (MGA). Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
 
All assets of ANSA, including inventory, were sold to AP Exhaust and have been relocated from Macon to Goldsboro.
 
ANSA is a manufacturer of OE replacement direct fit exhaust systems for import vehicles under the ANSA brand and diesel light truck performance exhaust systems under the Silverline brand. Founded in 1927, AP Exhaust manufactures a complete line of OE replacement and performance exhaust and emissions products for automotive, light truck, heavy-duty, agricultural and industrial markets.
 
MGA was formed in early 2007 with the mission of providing full service mergers and acquisitions support for middle-market enterprises. MGA assists automotive, commercial vehicle and heavy-duty aftermarket companies with strategic advisory services for mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, as well as with capital formation for private equity placements.
