AOCA 20th Anniversary Convention and Fast Lube Expo Slated for April 28-May 1

Dallas, TX — The Automotive Oil Change Association (AOCA) will hold its 20th Anniversary Convention and Fast Lube Expo April 28-May 1, 2007, in Dallas, TX. To celebrate its anniversary, AOCA is offering free registration for members and their fast lube teams if they register by March 26.

A wide range of seminars will be presented by renowned business and industry experts. Topics covered include employee selection, training and retention; sales and customer service strategies; preventing theft; winning against the competition and more. Open forums will allow attendees to network and share new ideas and strategies on financing for expansion, handling irate customers, security cameras, preventing theft, motivating employees and developing web-based customer surveys.

The New Owners Boot Camp is a must for those new to the industry or thinking about getting into the industry. This year there will also be a special track of courses and events just for managers.

At the Fast Lube Industry Town Hall Meeting, Dennis DesRosiers of DesRosiers Automotive Consulting will reveal the trends that fast lube professionals need to know about to succeed into the future. Don’t expect a lecture, this will be an interactive session between front line operators and one of North America’s leading automotive industry trend spotters.

Boxing great Sugar Ray Leonard will deliver this year’s keynote address, which promises to inspire attendees to overcome obstacles and reach their goals.

At the Fast Lube Expo, the world’s largest event dedicated to buyers and suppliers to the fast lube industry, attendees will meet top industry suppliers from around the country to learn about products and services that could help them improve their operations.
