Anchor said the new facility will offer better customer service through improved technology and increased efficiencies in addition to allowing the company to expand and invest in its core manufacturing plant in Cleveland, Ohio.

CLEVELAND, OHIO — Engine mount manufacturer Anchor Industries has purchased certain assets of LCR Enterprises, LLC (ASR Products), based in Oklahoma City, Okla. The sale includes all ASR inventory.

According to Douglas Kaufman, president of Anchor Industries, the acquisition will be beneficial to all Anchor customers as the company continues to build its brand and expand its distribution network. “We have aggressively expanded both our domestic and import coverage over the past five years and this year will continue that emphasis,” said Kaufman.

Anchor will integrate all of the ASR inventory into its own as it consolidates its Goodlettsville, Tenn., and Highland Heights, Ohio, distribution facilities into a new facility in Solon, Ohio. Anchor plans to expand its product offering, brand recognition and leadership position in the engine mount category and is currently working on new product development. The company said it expects to make an official announcement about new products in mid-2005, along with introducing a new catalog.
