AMSOIL Introduces Synthetic Fifth-Wheel Grease

AMSOIL Synthetic Fifth-Wheel Grease is a heavy-duty lubricant engineered to provide outstanding protection and performance in the harsh operating environments found in fifth-wheel hitches used in trucking and trailer applications, according to the company.

SUPERIOR, Wis. — AMSOIL Synthetic Fifth-Wheel Grease is a heavy-duty lubricant engineered to provide outstanding protection and performance in the harsh operating environments found in fifth-wheel hitches used in trucking and trailer applications, according to the company. It provides excellent protection against wear and corrosion while withstanding high loads and pressures. AMSOIL Synthetic Fifth-Wheel Grease stays in place and resists water washout, providing long service life.

Fifth-wheel hitches must be lubricated to minimize wear between the fifth-wheel plate and the trailer and to ensure the trailer can pivot behind the pull vehicle, the company notes. These components are frequently neglected, and owners are unaware that special grease is required for optimal performance. Providing needed protection that helps increase fuel economy and reduce abnormal steering component and tire wear, AMSOIL Synthetic Fifth-Wheel Grease offers outstanding all-weather protection and performance, according to the company.

AMSOIL Synthetic Fifth-Wheel Grease is available in a “no-mess” squeeze tube for ease in application.
