AMS Automotive LLC Acquires Inwood Automotive Products Co.

Inwood Automotive custom bonds and coats drum brake shoes and other friction material for forklifts, cranes, tractors, as well as antique cars and trucks. In addition, Inwood Automotive supplies disc brake pads and drum brake shoes for passenger vehicles, light-duty trucks and medium-duty trucks.

FENTON, Mo. – AMS Automotive LLC has acquired the assets of Cincinnati, Ohio-based Inwood Automotive Products Company. The sale was finalized Dec. 31, 2012.
 
Gil Pulliam Sr., president of Inwood Automotive, started the company in 1988 and was joined by his son and general manager, Gil Pulliam Jr., in 1992. The company was founded in order to supply high-quality, non-asbestos products to the automotive aftermarket, and has now achieved 24 years of continued growth and success.
 
Inwood Automotive custom bonds and coats drum brake shoes and other friction material for forklifts, cranes, tractors, as well as antique cars and trucks. In addition, Inwood Automotive supplies disc brake pads and drum brake shoes for passenger vehicles, light-duty trucks and medium-duty trucks. Branded products include:

· UltraQuiet Premium Grade, application-specific disc brake pads
· ProQuiet Professional Grade, application-specific disc brake pads
· MaxQuiet ceramic disc brake pads
· TITAN-Ex Severe Duty semi-metallic disc brake pads
· INTIMIDATOR semi-metallic disc brake pads and riveted and bonded brake shoes
 
Inwood Automotive products are distributed throughout 48 states and Canada.
 
AMS Automotive is a manufacturer and supplier of clutch components and gas-charged lift supports to the North American market. AMS Automotive products are sold under numerous brands including RhinoPac, New Generation and World Car, in addition to several private label program distribution group brands.
