Amerit Fleet to Provide Service for Hyzon’s Fuel-Cell EVs

Amerit Fleet Solutions will provide warranty repairs, preventive maintenance and support services.

Amerit Fleet Solutions, a provider of customized fleet maintenance and repair programs nationwide, has entered into an agreement with Hyzon, a high-power hydrogen fuel cell technology developer and global supplier of zero-emission heavy-duty fuel cell electric vehicles, to provide maintenance and repair services to commercial fleets.

Under the terms of the non-exclusive agreement, Amerit Fleet Solutions will provide warranty repairs, preventive maintenance and support services for fuel cell electric vehicles upfitted with Hyzon’s proprietary hydrogen fuel cell powertrain, beginning in Hyzon’s strategic pilot locations, the company said.

“Amerit recognizes that hydrogen fuel cell technology plays an important role in the zero-emissions landscape, and we are excited to be supporting Hyzon and their customers across the country,” said Dan Williams, CEO of Amerit, “At Amerit we share Hyzon’s vision for a zero-emission future and stand ready to support their customers as they adopt hydrogen fuel cell technology into their fleets.”

“Reliable service, maintenance and warranty coverage are a ‘must have’ for heavy-duty fleets,” said Pat Griffin, Hyzon Motors’ president of North America. “As a first mover in heavy-duty hydrogen-powered transport, the collaboration with Amerit is a key component to enable Hyzon’s deployment of vehicles upfitted with zero-emission hydrogen fuel cell powertrain solutions.”
