All-New Monroe.Com Website Includes New Selling Tools, Streamlined Navigation

Site highlights key ride control replacement messages, introduces OE Spectrum Shocks and Struts, and tracks cross-selling opportunities.

MONROE, Mich. – Tenneco’s Monroe shocks and struts brand has unveiled a new, user-friendly website that highlights the importance of ride control replacement, describes the brand’s complete portfolio of products and delivers an array of interactive tools designed to help distributors and installers grow their shares of the ride control category.

Available in English, French and Spanish, the new www.monroe.com site features a consumer-targeted rotating banner designed to reinforce the installer’s ride control replacement recommendation through a variety of educational and safety messages. This feature outlines the industry’s 50,000-mile replacement recommendation; the effects of worn ride control on vehicle steering, stopping and stability; and the impact of worn shocks and struts on tire wear and safety. Users can also learn about Tenneco’s leadership as a ride control supplier to global vehicle manufacturers and understand how this OE involvement enhances the quality and value of Monroe replacement products.

Extensive information is offered regarding the complete portfolio of Monroe ride control products, including Tenneco’s new Monroe OESpectrum shocks and struts for foreign nameplate vehicles. An electronic catalog and separate buyer’s guide feature enable users to quickly identify the recommended Monroe products for virtually any application. For the first time, users can also automatically link to other available Tenneco products – including Monroe brake pads and shoes, Walker exhaust components and DynoMax performance exhaust products – for the corresponding vehicle.

“Our goal was to make monroe.com the most powerful and user-friendly online reference and sales tool in the ride control category,” said Monroe Brand Manager Carri Irby. “The site now has valuable information and interactive features to serve all audiences, from the parts counterperson, to the service writer and technician, to the vehicle owner.”

For businesses that sell and/or install Monroe products, the site now includes a “Service Professionals” section featuring links to the Tenneco Expert Plus dealer loyalty program, Monroe technical training and business management resources, and a library of downloadable logos and product images.

The site’s popular “Dealer Locator” feature returns with an auto-fill feature that detects the user’s location and lists nearby Monroe dealers. Inclusion in the Dealer Locator tool is one of the many benefits of membership in the Expert Plus program.

For consumers who want to connect with the Monroe brand through additional online resources, the site includes a link to Monroe’s popular Facebook page.
