Aftermarket eForum to Include ‘All Star’ Industry Leaders Panel

Organizers for the 2006 Aftermarket eForum have lined up a number of industry “all stars” to speak at the event, which takes place July 17-19 at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare in Chicago. The last session on Tuesday, July 18 will feature past eForum speakers to reflect on their forecasts for IT and a technology-enabled aftermarket.

BETHESDA, MD — Organizers for the 2006 Aftermarket eForum have lined up a number of industry “all stars” to speak at the event, which takes place July 17-19 at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare in Chicago. The last session on Tuesday, July 18 will feature past eForum speakers to reflect on their forecasts for IT and a technology-enabled aftermarket.

Highlighting the “Industry Leaders Panel – What We’ve Learned in This Century” will be John Washbish of Affinia Group and Denny Welvaert of Dayco/Mark IV. They will be joined by Jon Wyly, vice president of Arrow Speed Warehouse in Kansas City, MO, and chairman of the SEMA Business Technology Committee, and Ray Nicholas, vice president of information technology for Standard Motor Products, Inc. The session will be moderated by Bob Moore, president of Bob Moore & Partners.

“Together and separately these four companies have pioneered and deployed all of the major industry standards and technologies available to the aftermarket,” explains Scott Luckett, vice president of technology Standards and Solutions for AAIA and chairman of the eForum Planning Committee. “Their experience and insights will be of great interest to any supplier or reseller who wants to know what works, what it takes and what to watch out for.”
