Affinia Shows Off its World Smarts

Affinia CEO Terry McCormack talks about the company's World Smart, customer-centric marketing message.

LAS VEGAS – Tuesday evening at AAPEX, Affinia Group Inc. hosted a reception for customers, colleagues and media during which Terry McCormack, CEO of Affinia, introduced the company’s international executive team and talked about the company’s goals and global initiatives.

Going forward, the company said it aims to participate in the global aftermarket in a sensible and sustainable way.
 
At the event, McCormack talked about the development of Affinia’s global quality initiative to meet fit, form and function. “We’re paving the way for enhanced global commerce for the aftermarket,” McCormack said of the company’s new “World Smart” market strategy.
 
McCormack added, “The next great idea can come from anywhere in the world and we want to be everywhere that it could happen.”
 
McCormack also briefly touched on the company’s financial stability and growth. Among the notable growth the company has experienced, Affinia opened three new Greenfield operations and has broken ground on two more.
 
McCormack added that the company has simple purpose: to inspire its people and rededicate its focus on its customers.
