Affinia Collects Nine Awards at National Catalog Managers Association Meeting

Affinia was presented with a total of nine awards, including seven President’s Awards, at the recent meeting of the National Catalog Managers Association (NCMA).

ANN ARBOR, MI — Affinia was presented with a total of nine awards, including seven President’s Awards, at the recent meeting of the National Catalog Managers Association (NCMA).

Affinia was presented with the following awards:

* Two President’s Awards for CD-Rom Catalog Excellence
* Most User Friendly Paper Catalog-2005 Filter Applications
* Five President’s Awards for eCatalog Excellence
* Best Paper Catalog Cover-Spicer Light Duty Chassis

“Nine awards is a stellar accomplishment for one company,” said Jerry McCabe, Affinia’s vice president of communications and marketing services. “Jeff Alexander and his staff have done a wonderful job in making our catalogs informative, relevant and extremely easy to use for our customers. Winning the eCatalog awards from NAPA, Wrenchead, AMS and Activant shows we are achieving our goal of putting the customers needs first.”

Affinia’s Application Management Group is responsible for electronic and print application for all of Affinia’s brands including Wix filters, Raybestos and Aimco brake products, McQuay-Norris and Spicer chassis parts, Nakata, Urba and Quinton Hazell.

“Affinia recognizes the importance of sound data management in today’s aftermarket environment,” said Alexander, Affinia’s director of application management. “It is critical to deliver to our trading partners, timely, robust and accurate data. Not one part leaves our warehouses without someone first assessing the need for and developing application information. Today’s trading partners demand more data than ever before. It is therefore extremely important to have the appropriate processes and systems in place to exceed these customer expectations.”
