Adient Honors Leading Suppliers For Commitment To Excellence In 2017

Suppliers from around the world were recognized for their exceptional performance in the categories of quality, cost, logistics, development, technology and service.

Adient, a global automotive seating supplier, has named its 2017 Supplier Performance Award winners, recognizing 53 suppliers for their leadership and excellence. The suppliers were honored during the company’s annual Supplier Expectation Day held in Detroit.

“We congratulate all of our outstanding suppliers who share our commitment to excellence,” said Bruce McDonald, chairman and CEO for Adient. “Through their dedication, focus and hard work, these partners continue to help us deliver industry-leading products for our global customers.”

Adient debuted as an independent, publicly traded company after its separation from Johnson Controls on Oct. 31, 2016.

Suppliers from around the world were recognized for their exceptional performance in the categories of quality, cost, logistics, development, technology and service. The awards are presented in four levels of accomplishment – platinum, gold, silver and bronze.

“Adient relies on its suppliers to be innovative, enhance collaboration and share in our core values,” said Kelly Bysouth, vice president of global procurement and supply chain. “Every year, our suppliers continue to impress us with their commitment to excellence.”
