RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. More than 150 automotive trade professionals from around the globe, including the U.S. Consul General of Frankfurt, Germany, and international buyers invited by the U.S. Commercial Service, attended an international reception hosted by AASA’s Overseas Automotive Council (OAC) on Sept. 16 during Automechanika Frankfurt in Frankfurt, Germany.
“OAC works hard to provide our members with multiple avenues for networking and increasing their export potential,” said Jeremy Denton, executive director of OAC. “The reception in Frankfurt is a key part of OAC’s mission to extend members’ global reach in taking their products and services worldwide.”
OAC hosted the international networking reception with the support of AASA, the Motor and Equipment Manufacturers Association and corporate gold sponsor Affinia. Other sponsors included: Aftermarket Business World, CARDONE Industries, Cyclo Industries and Intraco/Casite.
“Automechanika Frankfurt is truly an international meeting point for the motor vehicle supplier industry,” added Denton. “OAC was pleased to welcome Edward Alford, U.S. Consul General of Frankfurt, and the OAC network of industry trade executives.”
