BETHESDA, MD — It’s last call for Town Hall as the popular AAIA breakfast and industry panel discussion nears sell out status, with more than 1,100 tickets already sold. The Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA) recommends registering now to attend the Town Hall, sponsored by NASCAR Performance on Wednesday, Nov. 2 from 7 to 8:50 a.m. in the Venetian Ballroom in Las Vegas.
This year’s theme is, “What Part of Parts, Accessories & Service Don’t We Understand: And Aren’t We Glad We Don’t Work for Detroit?” The new stage set will feature a television talk show format and four guest panelists compared with six in the past.
“This year’s Town Hall will be more fun, more entertaining, more candid and cover more issues,” said Kathleen Schmatz, AAIA president and CEO, who will serve as moderator. “Where else can you eat a delicious breakfast, entertain and network with colleagues, watch a lively discussion of top industry issues and walk to the show floor before it opens?”
Panelists include Michael Coppola, president and COO of Advance Auto Parts; Tim Lee, CEO of Certified Automotive and Lang Distributing and president of Lang Auto Parts; Chris “Chubby” Frederick, president of the Automotive Training Institute; and Van Kirk, president of Auto Tech Service.
Tickets can be purchased online at aftermarket.org. Individual tickets are $75 and a table of 10 is $600.
