BETHESDA, Md. More than 350 member volunteer leaders and VIPs are expected to participate in the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association‘s (AAIA) Spring Leadership Days, taking place May 1-3 in Bonita Springs, Fla.
The three-day event will feature 30 meetings and events, including standing, segment and special committees and advisory groups, the executive committee and board of directors and a volunteer recognition dinner. Also scheduled is a luncheon presentation on May 2, “Understanding the Impacts of the Affordable Care Act/Health Care Reform,” by Anita Baker, CPA, CEBS, managing partner of CliftonLarsonAllen.
“Volunteers are the backbone of our association, working closely with professional staff, providing the guidance and vision to help lead AAIA,” said Kathleen Schmatz, AAIA president and CEO. “Our thought leaders gather twice a year in the spring and fall to roll up their sleeves and work on issues and initiatives of importance to our membership and the aftermarket industry as a whole.”
