AAIA Board and Executive Committee Nominations Sought

The AAIA Nominating Committee will be meeting at the Board and Committee Meetings in Reston, VA, on Sept. 15, to review qualified candidates who have submitted a request to be considered to serve on the association’s Board of Directors and Executive Committee.

BETHESDA, MD — Individuals interested in submitting nominations for the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA) Board of Directors and/or Executive Committee are encouraged to do so by Friday, Aug. 10. Ten current board member positions will expire in April 2008.

Nominees for the three-year board terms of office must have served on an AAIA committee or segment committee for a minimum of one year and be employed by an AAIA member company in good standing. Candidates for the one-year Executive Committee terms of office must have served on the AAIA Board of Directors for a minimum of one year.

The AAIA Nominating Committee will meet at the upcoming Fall Leadership Days, Sept. 5-7, in Chicago to review all qualified nominations. Serving on this year’s committee are AAIA Past Chairman of the Board David Caracci, Caracci Aftermarket Strategies; David Bell, Erie Drive Train, Inc.; Kevin Judge, Brenton Productions/Two Guys Garage; Joe Mittelman, Team Marketing, Inc.; Mort Schwartz, Jarmms Associates; Rodney Pierini, California and Nevada Automotive Wholesalers Association; and Walter Pletz, Sr., Marketing & Promotion, Inc. Ira Davis, Multi Parts Supply, Inc. and Pamela Krebs, Robert Bosch, LLC will serve as alternates.
