VDO Electric Motors Line Expands Application Coverage for Import and Domestic Vehicles

The new line additions include new fan assemblies and new blower motor part numbers, with new applications covering both domestic and import applications. The complete electric motors line is featured in a new 2012 catalog.

ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Continental Corp., aftermarket supplier of VDO OE-engineered replacements parts, has expanded its full line of VDO blower motors, blower wheels, cooling fan motors and cooling fan assemblies to more than 1,550 SKUs.
 
The new line additions include new fan assemblies and new blower motor part numbers, with new applications covering both domestic and import applications. The complete electric motors line is featured in a new 2012 catalog.
 
According to Rick Wagner, VDO product manager, the VDO motor line is the most comprehensive on the market.
 
"We offer exact fit coverage for over 220 million registered vehicles in North America, with applications for Asian, European and domestic cars, SUVs and light trucks up to model year 2012. The new part number additions to this program alone represent over 28 million additional sales opportunities for our customers" Wagner said.
 
VDO motors offer quiet operation, dependable performance and competitive pricing, according to the company. Features include thicker windings, larger commutators and dual bearing technology for optimal operation and longer life. All VDO motors are made to OE quality standards in TS/ISO certified facilities to the same specifications and quality standards as the OE components supplied by Continental to automakers worldwide.
