More than 100 million euros were invested in the facility, which is designed to fully integrate all phases of production, from receiving raw materials to shipment of the completed product. The new plant will employ 1,200 people and, thanks to 39 production lines, two foundries will double the production capacity.

DABROWA GORNICZA, Poland – Brembo has announced the opening of a new production facility in Eastern Europe. The new Brembo production center enables the group to better serve German, French, British and Italian clients in Central-Eastern Europe, according to the company.

The official opening ceremony, which took place Oct. 14, was attended by Brembo President Alberto Bombassei and representatives of Polish authorities, Italian authorities and international media.

“It is my pleasure to open this new factory in Poland, which reinforces our presence in a country that is becoming the geographical center of the automotive industry in Europe. Our company celebrates its 50th anniversary this year with strong positive financial results,” said Bombassei. “As part of our continuous effort to better serve our clients with an international footprint and a worldwide shop floor presence, we continuously explore new potential investment opportunities, like this one which recognizes and values Poland’s engineering, manufacturing and technical skills.”
