Neapco Opens Asia Business Office in China

The opening of Neapco's Asia business office is the latest initiative in the company's global growth strategy and follows major expansions of its manufacturing operations in Beatrice, Neb., and in Saltillo, Mexico.

SHANGHAI — Neapco Holdings has announced the launch of its Asia Business Office in Shanghai, China, as part of an ongoing expansion to serve the global demands of its customers and suppliers worldwide.

Located in the center of the growing China automotive market, the office will provide technical and program support for Neapco’s growing number of automotive suppliers in Asia, as well as support Neapco customers with their global automotive sourcing for halfshafts, driveshafts, differentials and aluminum die castings. The office also is responsible for developing future business and manufacturing opportunities.

"This is a significant step as we continue to broaden our global automotive customer and supply base, and as we develop our plans for a major manufacturing presence in China," said Robert Hawkey, CEO of Neapco Holdings. "All of these efforts are focused on enhancing our ability to add value to our automotive customers worldwide."

Neil Wasylewski has been named general manager of the Asia Business Office, reporting to Hawkey. Wasylewski brings 16 years of global experience in the management, development and launch of chassis components, systems and advanced technologies at GM/American Axle, Ford, Visteon and Neapco Drivelines.  He holds 11 U.S. patents with six more pending from his work in steering, suspension, structures, brakes, corner modules, exhaust and drivelines.

The opening of Neapco’s Asia Business office is the latest initiative in the company’s global growth strategy and follows major expansions of its manufacturing operations in Beatrice, Neb., and in Saltillo, Mexico.
