BBB, SKF Receive NAPA Excellence Awards

Honors were presented at the recent 2011 NAPA Supplier Summit in Atlanta.

ATLANTA — At NAPA’s recently held vendor summit, BBB Industries LLC was recognized for its outstanding service as a supplier of rotating electrical products.

The NAPA Service Excellence Award is one of the most prestigious accolades presented to a NAPA vendor and is presented annually to the one supplier that has demonstrated the dedication and excellence that exemplifies the performance of the ideal NAPA partner.

SKF was presented with the NAPA Excellence in Quality award at the recent 2011 NAPA Supplier Summit in Atlanta. The award recognizes SKF for quality in all areas of its business.

“It gives us great pride to receive the ‘Excellence in Quality’ award from NAPA,” said Mike McGrath, president, SKF VSM – North America. “We are pleased to know that our distribution customers and end-users recognize the value of SKF premium quality products in the aftermarket.”

In presenting the award, NAPA noted that SKF warranties less than 1 percent of the total units they sell through NAPA’s nationwide network of stores and service centers.

“As a global suppler to the industry for more than 100 years, SKF has earned a reputation for quality that is second to none,” said Byron Frantz, vice president, Wholesale Products Management, NAPA. “We are proud to have SKF as a partner and to sell their products in our stores.”
