Gates Corp. Launches Gates Automotive Solutions (GAS) Online Forum

The GAS Forum creates a community for automotive service technicians and provides resources related to automotive aftermarket products.

DENVER, Colo. – Gates Corp. has announced the launch of the Gates Automotive Solutions (GAS) forum, an online resource where automotive service technicians and the Gates team of ASE-certified technicians can share information about automotive aftermarket products within the belts, hose and hydraulics categories.

With the increased demand for access to digital content and information, Gates says it created the forum to encourage shared knowledge within the automotive repair and replacement community. The forum can be found at www.GatesGAS.com.

Discussion topics at the GAS forum include the accessory belt drive system, the timing belt drive system, coolant hose, fuel hose, water pumps, fleet and heavy-duty, hydraulic hose and couplings, powersports and recreation, racing products and lawn and garden equipment. After registering to participate in the forum, users may post a new topic or add a reply to an existing discussion within the forum categories. Guests are also allowed access to the content at any time.

“As one of the world’s leading automotive parts manufacturers, our goal is to provide collaborative business support to our customers as well as access to new diagnostic techniques, replacement procedures and technical information for the products we produce and their related systems,” said Dave Miller, VP, automotive marketing. “The GAS forum is an online discussion site where service firms, professional technicians, academic institutions and retail distributors can find repair and replacement information, share best practices and contribute to the advancements in automotive technology.”
