Dorman Releases More Than 75 New Products in August

In addition to Dorman's formerly "Dealer Only" parts, the company says 200 late-model brake cables, wheel cylinders and hoses were released this month as part of its expanding brake line.

COLMAR, Pa. — Dorman Products says it released more than 75 new products in August, featuring formerly "Dealer Only" parts that were previously unavailable in the aftermarket, according to the company.

Dorman says technicians now have the convenience of sourcing plastic-backed mirror glass, radiator fan relays, integrated door latch actuators and ABS tone rings from the company. In addition to Dorman’s formerly "Dealer Only" parts, the company says 200 late-model brake cables, wheel cylinders and hoses were released this month as part of its expanding brake line.

New this month are 36 plastic-backed mirror glass SKUs covering Chrysler, Ford, GM, Mazda and Volkswagen vehicles. The plastic-backed mirror glass is a direct replacement and provides a cost-saving alternative to replacing the entire mirror assembly, Dorman says. Simply snap out the old, broken glass and replace it with the new Dorman part, which comes complete with a backing plate for snap-in replacement.

Seven integrated door latch actuator SKUs covering more than 14 million Toyotas have been added to Dorman’s door lock actuator line. With the Dorman part, the latch and the motor are built into the housing — making one unified part.
