These pads incorporate the company's proprietary Integrally Molded Insulator (IMI) one-piece pad design and unique Wagner EDGE Laser-Shaped Friction technology, which help provide superior stopping performance, the company says.

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. — Federal-Mogul has reported that its award-winning Wagner ThermoQuiet brake pads are now available for several popular 2011 and earlier vehicle models, including the Honda Odyssey and Accord Crosstour, Hyundai Elantra, Ford Escape and other models. ThermoQuiet pads are designed and manufactured by Federal-Mogul, the world’s leading supplier of friction products to the original equipment and replacement markets, according to the company.

ThermoQuiet ceramic and semi-metallic brake pads help vehicle service providers eliminate brake comebacks by delivering quieter performance, superior stopping power and longer pad life, according to Federal-Mogul. The new pad SKUs extend these unique benefits to nearly 950,000 vehicles registered in the U.S. or Canada.

“Parts and service providers look to Federal-Mogul and the Wagner ThermoQuiet brand for the latest and best friction technology for every popular late-model application,” said Ken Selinger, director, North American Friction, Federal-Mogul. “We continue to aggressively expand our product line to help shops capture more brake service opportunities every day.”
