JDI Introduces Its ‘Caddy for a Cause’ Campaign

From Aug. 1 through the end of 2011, JDI will contribute $10 to breast cancer research for every Fuel Chief Pro 25 - 25 Gallon Steel Gas Caddy (FC-25GC) sold during that period.

BARBERTON, Ohio – JohnDow Industries (JDI), through its Fuel Chief brand, recently announced an aggressive fundraising campaign for breast cancer research, "Caddy for a Cause." From Aug. 1 through the end of 2011, JDI will contribute $10 to this research for every Fuel Chief Pro 25 – 25 Gallon Steel Gas Caddy (FC-25GC) sold during that period.

Joe Dease, president of JDI stated, “We are excited and passionate about this campaign. We want to give back to this very worthy cause … The Fuel Chief products (portable fuel storage and handling) are all about safety and saving lives, so we felt it was a natural partnership. According to the American Cancer Society, every 23 seconds someone in the world is diagnosed with breast cancer and every 69 seconds, someone dies from this horrific disease.”

JDI will communicate the campaign through product packaging, JDI shirts, trade shows, flyers, a special micro site, customer email blasts, press releases and distributor and rep communications.

JDI’s recently introduced FC-25GC Gas Caddy has achieved UL Listing status while also complying with OSHA guidelines. JDI becomes the only manufacturer in the U.S. with these safety credentials. The FC-25GC is also equipped with a heavy-duty, UL Listed two way cast iron pump.
