LIQUI MOLY Named Altrom Group Supplier of the Year

It is the first major award LIQUI MOLY has received in the United States.

ULM, Germany — The German oil and additive specialist LIQUI MOLY has been named Altrom Group Supplier of the Year 2010. It is the first major award LIQUI MOLY has received in the United States.

The Altrom group is the import parts division of Genuine Parts Co. Altrom’s Supplier of the Year award is a combined award for both the U.S. and Canada. Eligible companies must impress the judging panel in the areas of quality, commitment, sales growth, marketing initiatives, training and sales support, commitment to meeting orders and partnership.

“LIQUI MOLY is a longstanding vendor partner of Altrom” said Scott Mountford, president of the Altrom Group. “They are committed to Altrom’s growth and provide Altrom outstanding support with their high-quality products, coverage and unique marketing. They are a terrific vendor partner and are truly deserving of this prestigious award.”

The national LIQUI MOLY sales team said they were surprised when they were called to the stage at the Altrom Sales Summit.

“We feel deeply honored,” said Manfred Fischer, U.S. manager at LIQUI MOLY Germany. “The award reflects our efforts to not only sell top-quality products made in Germany but also to offer top service.”

LIQUI MOLY says it not only maintains delivery reliability, it also continuously updates Altrom’s product database and accompanies Altrom field staff on sales visits to its customers. “For us it is a tremendous success, and the confidence Altrom places in us is an obligation to push even harder in the future,” said Fischer.
