Federal-Mogul Introduces Six New Carter Replacement Fuel Pump Module Assemblies

According to Federal-Mogul, Carter fuel pump module assemblies provide original equipment-style fit and performance and feature a variety of design enhancements engineered to ensure long, trouble-free service life. Each assembly is 100-percent performance tested before it is approved for shipping, the company adds.

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – Federal-Mogul has introduced six Carter premium replacement fuel pump module assemblies that the company states are “the first available through the automotive aftermarket for 10 popular Honda applications.”

According to Federal-Mogul, Carter fuel pump module assemblies provide original equipment-style fit and performance and feature a variety of design enhancements engineered to ensure long, trouble-free service life. Each assembly is 100-percent performance tested before it is approved for shipping, the company adds.

“Our aggressive investment in new foreign nameplate coverage enables service providers to repair a wider range of vehicles using world-class components that will help solve the problem the first time,” said Carter Product Manager Jeff Richardson. “By relying on Carter, shop owners, service writers and technicians enjoy exceptional coverage of the increasingly global range of vehicles now being operated in North America.”

The new Carter module assemblies, and corresponding coverage, are:

Among the design enhancements featured in many Carter fuel pump module assemblies are premium turbine pumps that the company says are quieter, more tolerant of debris and require less power. These modules also feature solid silver fuel sender contacts that provide better electrical conductivity and are highly resistant to corrosion caused by blended fuels and some additives, according to Federal-Mogul. Digital pressure sensor transducers are used for greater accuracy and reliability than analog designs. And only Carter modules feature the Carter CleanScreen fuel strainer, which provides maximum filtration with significantly reduced clogging, according to the company.
