SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – Federal-Mogul has reported that its Carter fuel delivery products brand now offers the aftermarket replacement fuel modules for 2005-2010 3.5-liter Honda Odyssey and 2007-2008 3.5-liter Acura TL models. The company says this first-to-market coverage reflects Federal-Mogul’s aggressive continued investment in original equipment-style replacement fuel products for foreign nameplate applications.
The new Honda Odyssey (No. P76415M) and Acura TL (No. P76421M) in-tank modules deliver factory-specified fuel pressure and flow and match the dimensions, electrical connections and inlet/outlet locations of the original equipment units, according to the company. In addition, each Carter fuel pump and module is 100-percent tested for proper performance before shipping.
In addition to matching key characteristics of the OE parts, Federal-Mogul engineers add a variety of enhancements to many Carter replacement modules to help ensure longer, more reliable performance. Federal-Mogul notes that these design improvements, which vary by Carter product, include premium turbine pumps that are quieter, more tolerant of debris and require less power; solid silver fuel sender contacts that provide better electrical conductivity and are highly resistant to corrosion caused by blended fuels and some additives; digital pressure sensor transducers that are more accurate and reliable than analog designs; and the exclusive Carter CleanScreen fuel strainer, which provides maximum filtration with significantly reduced clogging.
