Federal-Mogul Introduces ANCO Winter Blades

The new line is intended for vehicles equipped with OE profile-style wipers.

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. — Federal-Mogul has introduced a line of ANCO Winter Blades for vehicles fitted with original equipment profile-type wipers. ANCO Winter Blades are now available for a full range of foreign-nameplate and domestic applications.

ANCO Winter Blades incorporate a variety of OE technologies and design features ideally suited to extreme weather, according to the company. These features include Federal-Mogul’s exclusive, extra-thick DuraKlear natural rubber wiping edge, which the company says remains flexible in cold temperatures to provide a consistent, streak-free wipe. These blades also feature a rugged rubber boot that protects the heavy-duty steel frame from ice and corrosive materials, Federal-Mogul states.

ANCO Winter Blades also feature Federal-Mogul’s “Master Connection System,” which fits all major OE connection systems while minimizing SKU requirements. Each blade is shipped complete with simple installation adaptors that cover virtually any application originally equipped with profile-type wipers.

“Federal-Mogul and the ANCO brand are global leaders in the profile blade category,” said Tracy Neil, brand manager, visibility products, Federal-Mogul. “Our research shows that millions of consumers who appreciate the benefits of profile blades also prefer a heavy-duty wiping solution for winter weather conditions. Converting to ANCO Winter Blades is the fast, easy solution.”

ANCO Winter Blades are available in 18-, 20-, 22-, and 24-inch lengths for profile blade-equipped vehicles from Audi, BMW, Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Dodge, Ford, Freightliner, GMC, Hyundai, Jaguar, Land Rover, Lincoln, Lotus, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Mercury, Pontiac, Porsche, Saab, Saturn, Smart, Toyota, Volkswagen and Volvo.
