Call for Nominations for the University of the Aftermarket Executive Education Award

Annual award highlights firms with commitment to industry-specific business education.

MIDLAND, Mich. – Nominations are now being accepted for the first University of the Aftermarket Executive Education Award, which will be presented to the company that best exemplifies a commitment to industry leadership through employee involvement in aftermarket-specific business education. The award will be presented during Automotive Aftermarket Industry Week.

Criteria for the annual award include:

• leadership in encouraging employee participation in continuing education;
• integration of University of the Aftermarket training resources into employee training programs;
• participation in and support of the University’s Leadership 2.0 executive development experience; and
• employee participation and progress in the University’s Automotive Aftermarket Professional (AAP) and Master Automotive Aftermarket Professional (MAAP) certificate programs.

“We have seen a significant increase in involvement and demand for University programs among manufacturers and distributors,” said University of the Aftermarket Director Brian Cruickshank, AAP. “This exciting new award recognizes aftermarket companies large and small that are positioning themselves for long-term success through high quality, university-level business, management and leadership education.”
