EnerSys Introduces ODYSSEY PC1220 and PC1350 Batteries for Automotive/LTV Markets

The two new models are available for premium European, Japanese and late-model American, automotive/LTV applications.

READING, Pa. – EnerSys recently expanded its ODYSSEY Battery product line to include the ODYSSEY PC1220 and PC1350 batteries, available for premium European, Japanese and late-model American, automotive/LTV applications. The ODYSSEY PC1220 is comparable to BCI sizes 48 and 94R (European DIN L3), and the ODYSSEY PC1350 is comparable to BCI sizes 49 and 95R (European DIN L5).

While both batteries may require vehicle battery restraint modifications for installation, each battery features mounting flexibility and can be installed in virtually any position except inverted. Additionally, the ODYSSEY PC1220 and PC1350 batteries are designed to protect against high-impact shock and mechanical vibration for increased vibration resistance. They also provide an increased service life of three to 10 years.

“We’re pleased to introduce the addition of the ODYSSEY PC1220 and PC1350 batteries for automotive/LTV applications,” said Dave McMullen, director of marketing for EnerSys, Specialty Markets. “With these two new sizes, we can offer more fitments with increased mounting flexibility, vibration resistance and increased service life for premium European, Japanese, and late model American vehicles.”
                                                      
The ODYSSEY PC1220 is a 12-volt dry cell battery with 680 cold cranking amps (CCA). It also offers 135 minutes of reserve capacity and a deep cycle capability of 400 cycles at 80 percent depth of discharge (DOD). The ODYSSEY PC1350 is a 12-volt dry cell battery with 770 CCAs, 195 minutes of reserve capacity with deep cycle capability of 400 cycles at 80 percent DOD.  

Both batteries come with a full four-year warranty.
