Green Earth Technologies Signs Bulk Distribution Deal with Green Planet Products

Under the agreement, Green Planet Products will be the bulk distributor of the full line of "G"-branded products in the North East and Mid-Atlantic, penetrating various market segments such as automotive manufacturers, car rentals, municipalities, schools and hospitals.

STAMFORD, Conn. — Green Earth Technologies (GET), a leading manufacturer and marketer of "green" environmentally safe consumer packaged goods and products, has announced a distribution deal with Green Planet Products LLC, of Schenectady, N.Y. (GPP). Under the agreement, GPP will be the bulk distributor of the full line of "G"-branded products in the North East and Mid-Atlantic, penetrating various market segments such as automotive manufacturers, car rentals, municipalities, schools and hospitals. Green Planet Products is an affiliated company of the Galesi Group, which has bulk infrastructure facilities as well as truck and rail systems already in position in the North East and Mid-Atlantic.

"We are delighted to sign a long-term deal with Green Planet Products LLC, allowing us to supply and support large users with GET products, seamlessly flowing into new markets through existing channels," said Jeff Marshall, chairman and CEO of Green Earth. "We have been building our brand to reach large bulk users over the last year and this new deal is a huge milestone for our company."

Francesco Galesi, chairman of The Galesi Group said, "New technology that enhances and protects our environment is in the forefront of much of today’s thinking. The Galesi Group is excited to be a part of Green Earth Technologies advanced processes for reducing emissions, improving performance and providing a unique model of sustainability. We believe that our bulk distribution facility will provide hospitals, schools, resorts, and municipalities with the environmentally safe alternative to their currently used engine oils, lubricants, cleaning solutions, herbicides and pesticides. We believe this is the wave of the future and we are pleased to be leading this effort."

Green Earth Technologies produces a full line of "G"-Branded products that are all recyclable, renewable, biodegradable and environmental friendly. These products include G-OIL, the world’s first bio-based motor oil to achieve the API "Donut" for SAE-5W30. Unlike traditional petrochemical-based motor oils from leading manufacturers, Green Earth Technologies’ G-OIL is made with American-grown renewable animal fats.
