LAS VEGAS — The Auto International Association (AIA) hosted its 21st Annual Product/Marketing Awards Program on Tuesday Nov. 3 in Las Vegas to recognize manufacturers, suppliers and marketers for excellence in product introductions and marketing programs specifically designed for the import vehicle market.

This year’s winners are:

• Best Overall Import Aftermarket Product: Premium Japanese Brand Timing Belt Kit, Nitoma Inc.

• Best New Product For Import Cars or Trucks: Volkswagen, Jetta, Golf/Audi TT High Performance CV Axle, DSS CV Axles.

• Best Merchandising/Advertising of a Product For Import Cars or Trucks: “It’s Denso, Relax” Trade Ad Campaign, Denso Sales California Inc.

• Best New Packaging of a Product for Import Cars or Trucks: Blister Packaging, Valeo Wiper Systems.

• Best Catalog of a Product Line for Import Cars or Trucks: 2009 Quality-Built Alternator & Starter Catalog, MPA – Motorcar Parts of America Inc.

• Best New Web site of a Product Line for Import Cars or Trucks: www.centricparts.com, Centric Parts.

Electronic Parking Brake Actuators are new for the 2023-19 RAM 1500 and Ford vehicles like the 2021-20 Escape and 2023-21 Mustang Mach-E. Accelerator Pedal Sensors are newly released for the 2023-22 Hyundai Tucson and 2023 Kia Sportage.
