Mike Bolio has more than 24 years in the specialty automotive industry working in warehousing and retail. He worked with Moroso Performance as Eastern sales manager and has been a manufacturer’s rep for the past 16 years. Bolio currently serves on the SEMA Manufacturers Rep Council, SEMA Young Executives Network Select Committee and the SEMA PRO Council.

“Fulcrum Marketing is all about understanding that our clients are doing business in an ever-changing environment,” Bolio explained. “The future of the aftermarket poses some incredibly challenging problems to solve. New tactics, significant attention to detail, and ever-evolving new approaches are required to insure the success of the industry.”

When it comes to understanding the specialty automotive industry and how it works, Bolio has experience plus inside knowledge. He has held key positions with Keystone Wheel and Appliance Wheel, where he worked to restructure the companies’ customer base reducing the number of direct accounts to make the line more valuable to the distributors. That initiative took sales in the East from $6.3 million to $14.7 million in less than one year.

Bolio has served six years on the SEMA Board of Directors and five years on the SEMA Executive Committee. He is the only male member ever elected to the SEMA Businesswoman’s Network Select Committee. He has also headed the SEMA Awards Committee Task Force and has served as a member of the SEMA Show Committee. He has been SEMA person of the year and Rep of the year. In 2006 he was inducted into the SEMA Hall of Fame. He is a current member of the LTAA Select Committee.

“We understand this industry inside out,” Steve Bolio explained. “Mike is very well-respected and has earned a good reputation with our manufacturers and customers. One of our biggest strengths is that we can sell, install and give tech seminars on every product we represent. Anybody that is familiar with our jobber call program knows how successful we are at getting product information, education and POP displays into the field in a timely manner. In addition, one of our primary goals is to educate the people who sell our products so that they can sell to the consumer.”
