LYON STATION, Pa. — East Penn Manufacturing has signed an exclusive agreement with Duracell, part of the Procter & Gamble family, to release automotive batteries branded under the Duracell name.
According to the two companies, East Penn’s more than 60 years of producing high-quality lead-acid batteries is a logical fit for the Duracell name that has earned 40 years of consumer trust.
Two types of Duracell automotive batteries are initially being released, the extreme power AGM and the advanced generation EHP.
A Duracell premium marine battery featuring AGM technology is also scheduled to be released at the onset of this highly anticipated product offering.
