Centric Celebrates 40,000 Parts Milestone

Centric Parts' catalog now boasts more than 40,000 braking system parts, supporting nearly every make and model from passenger cars to medium duty trucks manufactured since 1937.

LOS ANGELES – Centric Parts announced that it has “cruised” past the 40,000 parts milestone this month with the release of StopTech Big Brake Kits for the 2009 Dodge Challenger muscle car.

“Centric Parts has come a long way since its first catalog in 2000 with 15,000 parts,” said Dan Lelchuk, president of Centric Parts. “The Centric Parts additions of StopTech as our ultra-performance division in 2006 and Power Slot as our performance division in 2007 gave our catalog a boost, but constant growth since then has brought us to this 40,000 parts milestone.”

Centric Parts’ catalog now boasts more than 40,000 braking system parts, supporting nearly every make and model from passenger cars to medium duty trucks manufactured since 1937. The specific items that pushed Centric Parts over the 40,000 milestone were a collection of Big Brake Kits (BBKs) from StopTech for both the SRT-8 and R/T version of the 2009 Dodge Challenger.

The company said many notable product releases from Centric Parts throughout 2008 fueled the company’s march to the 40,000 parts achievement. These included StopTech’s track-only Trophy BBKs for serious racing performance as well as Power Slot’s award-winning Power Alloy rotors, which feature superior performance and durability in an entry-level, single-piece design.
