WIX Filters Updates Popular WIX H2 with 70th Anniversary Design

Mobile marketing unit to participate in more than 170 events in 2009.

As part of the brand’s year-long 70th anniversary celebration, WIX Filters has unveiled an updated design on its popular WIX H2 mobile marketing unit. The WIX H2 and Dodge 3500 tow vehicle will bring the company’s storied history to life for WIX’s loyal customers at more than 170 events across the country in 2009.

“The WIX H2 mobile marketing program has been a hit with our customers for the past five years, growing each year in scope and number of events attended,” said Jeff Blocher, brand manager for WIX Filters. “We look forward to using the redesigned WIX H2 to take the celebration of our 70-year history of product engineering, innovation and service to our customers throughout 2009.”

A specially-designed WIX Filters 70th Anniversary logo will be featured on the WIX H2 this year, replacing the popular WIX Guardian and Superhero images. Also new in 2009 is the Dodge 3500 tow vehicle and hauler, which both feature WIX 70th Anniversary images, including a snapshot of the changing WIX filters styles across seven decades of engineering leadership.

In addition to the outside visuals, the WIX H2 and Dodge 3500 are fully equipped with WIX oil, air, fuel, and cabin air filters. The WIX H2 also features interactive displays for customers who wish to see and feel the quality difference in a WIX filter.

Building on a 40-year relationship with Richard Petty, WIX has joined forces with Richard Petty Driving Experience in 2009 for the logistical management of the WIX H2 mobile marketing program. The WIX H2 and crew will make scheduled appearances at automotive distribution warehouses, WIX customer locations, NASCAR races, trade shows and other events across North America throughout the year.
