Hastings Manufacturing Launches Multi Warehouse e-Ring Center

The e-Ring Center provides real-time information on product availability and order history, as well as the ability to place orders online.

HASTINGS, Mich. — Hastings Manufacturing Co. has announced the opening of a secure customer extranet, or “e-Ring Center,” which integrates the company’s national network of commercial warehouses.

The e-Ring Center provides real-time information on product availability and order history, as well as the ability to place orders online.

According to the company, the benefits of the Hastings e-Ring Center to its customers are three-fold. By logging on to www.hastingsmfg.com, customers can check on the stock in the company’s warehouses in Spokane, Wash.; Los Angeles; Dallas; Charlotte, N.C.; or the factory warehouse in Hastings, Mich. Orders may be placed for delivery from any of these locations, potentially saving shipping time and expense. Lastly, stock orders may be uploaded to the e-Ring Center to accurately facilitate order entry. Should there be questions, the e-Ring Center is supported through Hastings’ Live Chat.

Aftermarket users will also benefit from an online ring finder and tech tips area, which holds the largest database of piston ring applications in the industry, providing cross-referencing by engine manufacturer, and an encyclopedic knowledge base on piston rings and their applications. OEM visitors will discover informative content on piston ring engineering, manufacturing, quality control, testing and product applications and strengths. Here you can also learn of Hastings’ ability to provide both off-the-shelf and custom piston ring solutions.
