Second Zep Product to be Released for Retail Sale

Zep commercial concentrated cherry hand cleaner is designed to tackle tough soils.

ATLANTA – Zep Inc. is introducing to the retail market its Zep Commercial Concentrated Cherry Hand Cleaner, a new product that’s part of the soon-to-be launched line of Zep Commercial automotive maintenance products.

“For years, Zep has supplied a broad array of recognized and trusted automotive maintenance products to auto dealers, auto fleets, service companies and other larger-scale customers,” said Lisa Malloy, president, Zep Retail. “Now, we’re bringing retail versions of many of those professional-grade products to smaller businesses and consumers who prefer to purchase at retail.”

Zep Commercial Concentrated Cherry Hand Cleaner is a premium, professional-strength liquid hand cleaner fortified with pumice and mild solvents. The company says it removes stubborn soils such as grease, tar, carbon, asphalt, inks, resins, paints and adhesives and also removes petroleum odors, leaving behind a pleasant cherry scent.

Because it is concentrated, Zep Commercial Concentrated Cherry Hand Cleaner provides more uses per ounce than other hand cleaners, according to Zep. In fact, it requires a third less product for the same hand cleaning performance as provided by other common brands, the company says.

The new line of products for mechanics, automotive repair shops and do-it-yourself consumers, will be available at convenient retail locations starting in Spring 2009.
