Innova Electronics Corp. Debuts OBDFix.com for Professional Automotive Technicians; Announces Online Sweepstakes

OBDFix offers a database of OBDI and OBDII on-board diagnostic repair solutions for virtually all vehicle makes and models.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif. – Innova Electronics Corp. (IEC) has announced the debut of OBDFix.com, a free online resource designed to give North American automotive technicians a place to network regarding on-board diagnostic repair solutions. To facilitate membership, OBDFix.com is hosting an online sweepstakes, with more than 60 prizes, including three Snap-on Rolling Carts with fender cover valued at $900 each. The OBDFix Everybody Wins Promo is open to professional automotive technicians who register at www.OBDFix.com by Dec. 31, and are validated as currently employed automotive technicians.

“Having designed, developed and provided technical support for leading OBD tools over the past decade, we know how frustrating that tough fix can be,” said Keith Andreasen, director of technical services for IEC. “Our goal for OBDFix.com is to be the place where technicians go to get their fix. It’s simple. When a technician needs help with a tough repair, they can retrieve the solution from OBDFix.com. Members can also give back to their fellow technicians by sharing what they did to fix that hard to diagnose vehicle.”

OBDFix offers a database of OBDI and OBDII on-board diagnostic repair solutions for virtually all vehicle makes and models. Approved OBDFix.com members can lookup diagnostic trouble code (DTC) definitions, decode VINs; and lookup repair information and fixes related to the codes. Members can also access vehicle recalls, retrieve manufacturer-prepared technical service bulletins with code-specific TSBs shown first, and more

The OBDFix Everybody Wins Promo is open to professional automotive technicians who log-on and register at www.OBDFix.com before 11:59 p.m. on Dec. 31. In addition to the grand prize, other prizes include 10 INNOVA 3130 CanOBD2 Scan Tools and 50 Snap-on Tool Screw Drivers. Prize winners will be selected in a random drawing on Jan. 8, 2009.
