BASF Names Juan Carlos Ordonez Group Vice President, Coatings, North America

BASF has appointed Juan Carlos Ordonez as group vice president, coatings, in North America.

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. — BASF has appointed Juan Carlos Ordonez as group vice president, coatings, in North America. He is based in Southfield, Mich.

 

Ordonez joined BASF South America in 1982. Since then he has served in a variety of management roles with increasing responsibility in North America, South America and at global BASF headquarters in Ludwigshafen, Germany. Additionally, he has experience in a number of industries, including consumer products, pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals and coatings. Most recently, Ordonez served as vice president responsible for BASF Automotive Refinish and Industrial Coatings in North America.

 

Ordonez earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Universidad De Los Andes-School of Business, Bogota, Colombia.
