LOS ANGELES – Brake components and systems manufacturer Centric Parts has released its 2008.5 Brake Systems catalog. The updated catalog details Centric’s complete range of brake components for passenger car and light truck applications through 2009.

The Centric 2008.5 Brake Systems catalog, which always features refined friction listings, pays particular attention to matching the appropriate PosiQuiet friction material to each application, based on exhaustive research of OEM samples, edge codes, materials and manufacturers. Centric Parts keeps the industry’s biggest library of OEM brake parts in order to provide best matched aftermarket solutions, according to the company.

PosiQuiet Loaded Calipers (catalog numbers with a 142 prefix) are featured in this catalog as the recommended replacements, along with PosiQuiet brake pads. Centric and CTEK brand products are also available. All told, the catalog contains more than 10,000 entries and tops out around 1,000 pages. It joins the 2005.5 Library Edition Brake Components catalog, which covers vehicle applications from 1937 through 1989, and the 2008 Medium Duty Brake Systems catalog, to offer the most comprehensive single source of brake offerings available. When rolled in with additional offerings from Power Slot and StopTech, the company’s performance and ultra-performance divisions, the scope of solutions provided by Centric becomes even more encompassing.

“There is hardly a vehicle on the road or in a garage manufactured in the last 70 years that Centric Parts does not have a brake system component for,” said Dan Lelchuk, president of Centric Parts.

The entire catalog is also available on DVD, including part images and technical specifications. The catalog can be obtained by contacting Centric Parts or by visiting www.centricparts.com, where a complete list of publications and reference materials is also available.
