Cooper Tire Names Director of Brand Marketing

Cooper Tire & Rubber recently named Michael Linhart director of brand marketing. In his new position, Linhart will be responsible for leading the management and coordination of Cooper’s brand strategy initiative. Linhart joined Cooper’s marketing department in 1990 as a marketing assistant.

FINDLAY, OHIO — Cooper Tire & Rubber recently named Michael Linhart director of brand marketing. In his new position, Linhart will be responsible for leading the management and coordination of Cooper’s brand strategy initiative. He will also be involved with sales planning, work in direct coordination with advertising and pricing as it relates to the brand strategy, supervise performance marketing, work with competitive intelligence and global brand coordination.

Linhart joined Cooper’s marketing department in 1990 as a marketing assistant. He became a territory sales manager in 1990 and was promoted to manager of inner tube sales in 1993. In 1995, he was named regional sales manager and was promoted to director/national sales manager for the Mastercraft brand in 1997, the position he held until his most recent promotion.
