Del-Nat Tire Names VP of Marketing

Jim Mayfield has joined Del-Nat Tire Corp. as vice president of marketing. His responsibilities will include all marketing and product management functions. Mayfield joined the tire industry in 1981 with Michelin Tire Corp., where he held various sales positions in replacement and OE sales.

MEMPHIS, TN — Jim Mayfield has joined Del-Nat Tire Corp. as vice president of marketing. His responsibilities will include all marketing and product management functions.

Mayfield joined the tire industry in 1981 with Michelin Tire Corp., where he held various sales positions in replacement and OE sales. In 1994 he joined Continental Tire North America’s commercial division as an OE account manager. Mayfield has held various sales and marketing positions with CTNA including vice president of OE sales for the passenger and light truck division, national director of mass merchandising sales and product marketing, director of marketing and director of general brand management.

Del-Nat Tire Corp. is one of the largest privately owned distributors of private brand tires in the world. Del-Nat markets passenger, light truck, medium truck, OTR, farm and industrial tires to its stockholders under the Delta, National and Akuret brand names.
