TI Automotive to Build New Plant in Mexico

TI Automotive, a supplier of fully integrated fluid storage and delivery systems, plans to build its seventh manufacturing plant in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico. The new 60,000-square-foot facility will employ 400 people and will produce brake and fuel lines for automotive assembly plants in North America. The plant is expected to open this summer.

WARREN, MI — TI Automotive, a supplier of fully integrated fluid storage and delivery systems, plans to build its seventh manufacturing plant in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico.

The new 60,000-square-foot facility will employ 400 people and will produce brake and fuel lines for automotive assembly plants in North America. The plant is expected to open this summer.

Art Carter, previously manager of TI Automotive’s Number 5 plant in Reynosa, will manage the new facility.

TI Automotive currently has 10 plants in Mexico, including two facilities that support its Walbro Engine Management business. Six other Reynosa facilities fabricate heating, ventilation and air conditioning lines for various auto manufacturers.

ZF Cleans up Metro Park

This past weekend, MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers' Cheryl Dry and Brenna McCann joined ZF Group to help clean up Stony Creek Metro Park in Shelby Township, Mich.

The effort was in line with ZF's dedication to sustainability, zero-waste, and circularity—which includes remanufacturing to reduce resource use and enable a second life for many products, the company said.
