American Tire Distributors Adds to Team of Equipment Specialists

American Tire Distributors has added to its team of equipment specialists with the recent hiring of Ralph Bachemin. Bachemin, who joined American Tire Distributors in January, handles automotive equipment sales and service for the company’s Mobile, Ala., distribution center, covering Southern regions of Louisiana, Alabama and Mississippi. Bachemin joins a network of approximately 45 equipment specialists employed by American Tire Distributors across the U.S. who assist dealers in establishing and maintaining a productive automotive services shop.

CHARLOTTE, NC — American Tire Distributors has added to its team of equipment specialists with the recent hiring of Ralph Bachemin. Bachemin, who joined American Tire Distributors in January, handles automotive equipment sales and service for the company’s Mobile, Ala., distribution center, covering Southern regions of Louisiana, Alabama and Mississippi.

Bachemin joins a network of approximately 45 equipment specialists employed by American Tire Distributors across the U.S. who assist dealers in establishing and maintaining a productive automotive services shop. In addition to sales and service, the specialists coordinate on-site equipment demonstrations for dealers as well as offer training seminars to teach the latest techniques for diagnosing and servicing today’s automobiles. The equipment specialists also can save dealers time by arranging same-day financing on-site for various equipment purchases.

A veteran of the tire industry, Bachemin previously worked for Tire Distribution Systems in his hometown of New Orleans. Prior to that, he was a partner in a tire retail center from 1994 until 2002. He began his career 1974 as an auto technician, eventually working his way to a management position in the Bridgestone/Firestone store in Slidell, La., near New Orleans.
