Federal-Mogul Named a Jasper Engines

For the 17th year in a row, Federal-Mogul Corp. has been presented with Jasper Engines & Transmissions' "Preferred Partner" award. Jasper is one of Federal-Mogul's largest customers, and the only company to have received the "Preferred Partner" award every year since its inception.

SOUTHFIELD, MI — For the 17th year in a row, Federal-Mogul Corp. has been presented with Jasper Engines & Transmissions’ “Preferred Partner” award. Jasper is one of Federal-Mogul’s largest customers, and the only company to have received the “Preferred Partner” award every year since its inception.

“We are a teamwork oriented organization,” said Marion Holt, eastern region manager for Federal-Mogul Aftermarket. “We believe in forging strong relationships throughout a customer’s organization so we can completely understand what it takes to meet and exceed their expectations. This is how we provide quality components, technological innovation and unsurpassed service to help our customers achieve their goals. Partnering is how we do business.”

The JASPER Preferred Partner Awards were given recently during their 17th annual Preferred Partners banquet. Recipients are nominated for the award by Jasper associates and are judged on quality of the product, level of after-the-sale-service, fill rate, response time to a problem and billing and credit procedures among other criteria. Jasper associates who use the nominee’s products and services make the final decision and pick the honorees. Only seven of Jasper’s 3,200 vendors received the award this year.

“We want the purchase of our products to be a perfect experience for our customers,” said Doug Bawel, president of Jasper Engines and Transmissions in giving the award. “Our Preferred Partners truly represent the best of the best.”
