Jiffy Lube, Inc. and Tomorrow’s Technician Sponsor Car Care Council Women’s Board Scholarship

The Car Care Council Women’s Board announced that Jiffy Lube, Inc. and Tomorrow’s Technician magazine have agreed to sponsor the $1,000 scholarship for the second year in a row. The scholarship will be awarded to a female student who has completed at least one year in an ASE-certified, post-secondary automobile technology program and plans on entering the automotive field upon graduation.

BETHESDA, MD — The Car Care Council Women’s Board announced that Jiffy Lube, Inc. and Tomorrow’s Technician magazine have agreed to sponsor the $1,000 scholarship for the second year in a row. The scholarship will be awarded to a female student who has completed at least one year in an ASE-certified, post-secondary automobile technology program and plans on entering the automotive field upon graduation.

The scholarship will be presented to the winner during the annual Women’s Automotive Communications Awards reception hosted by the Women’s Board. The reception is Tuesday, November 2, at the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) in Las Vegas.

“This is the second year that the Women’s Board has been able to offer the $1,000 scholarship, thanks to the generous support of Jiffy Lube and Tomorrow’s Technician,” said Jennifer Tio, president of the Car Care Council Women’s Board. “We had a great response to our scholarship program last year, so I’m really looking forward to meeting the 2004 recipient.”
