Modine Aftermarket Division Expands Parts Lineup

The aftermarket division of Modine Manufacturing Co. has expanded its offering of parts kits for the replacement of key A/C system components. Marketed under the Air Pro Quality Parts brand, the lineup includes more than 250 packages.

RACINE, WI — The aftermarket division of Modine Manufacturing Co. has expanded its offering of parts kits for the replacement of key A/C system components.

Marketed under the Air Pro Quality Parts brand, the lineup includes more than 250 packages. A/C service professionals will see considerable savings when purchasing a kit compared to the price of individual parts, according to Modine.

The expanded kit selection is available for a variety of Ford, GM, DaimlerChrysler and import applications. The kit package typically includes a compressor, condenser, accumulator, manifold hose assembly, liquid line and expansion device. The kits are designed to address an A/C issue known to the industry as “black death.” “Black death” describes a severe breakdown of the A/C system refrigerant-lubricant that causes excessive wear inside the compressor.

The Air Pro Quality Parts product line is available from independent distributors and most Modine Regional Sales and Service Centers and sales branches. For more information about the Air Pro line, go to: www.airpronet.com.
