ELGIN, IL — SKF/Chicago Rawhide has redesigned and relaunched its Web site — www.vsm.skf.com .

The newly redesigned site combines interactive elements with a user-friendly, navigable layout to service the automotive and heavy duty aftermarkets, according to the company. SKF/CR designed the Web site to include interactive cataloging and product information. The company said it also worked to address the requests and needs of its distributor partners during the redesign.

“The goal of our Web site redesign was to create a state-of-the-art, technically advanced online resource that compliments our approach to product development,” said Per Jacobsson, marketing director, SKF/CR Americas. “This new resource will establish online industry-related communities, downloadable reference materials and communication outlets to aftermarket professionals around the world.”

SKF/CR focused a portion of the redesign on developing outlets for members of its loyalty and training programs — SKF/CR Pole Position Program (focused toward automotive technicians) and Trouble Free Operation (TFO) Program (focused toward heavy duty fleets). Additionally, SKF/CR plans to use the Web site for future online promotions focused on rewarding technicians for installing SKF and CR brand products.

SKF/CR currently offers a full line of products for the automotive, heavy duty, agricultural and industrial arenas.
