ATLANTA — The NAPA organization recently presented its coveted Spirit of NAPA Award to the employees of Dana Corp. in recognition of NAPA CHASSIS’ outstanding vendor support and service.

This is the first time NAPA CHASSIS has won the Spirit of NAPA Award.

“This award speaks to the extremely high amount of time, effort and energy the Dana people of McHenry, Ill., Mishawaka, Ind., and Oklahoma City have put into this program,” said Gordon Curren, senior vice president of customer relations management for NAPA. “Every Dana employee who helped take the NAPA CHASSIS program to the next level and become the absolute best in the industry should be proud of their accomplishment. This Spirit of NAPA Award is a symbol of how everyone came together for the program.”

Terry McCormack, president of the Dana Automotive Aftermarket Group, accepted the award, on behalf of all Dana employees involved in the program, from Bob Susor, president of NAPA.

NAPA selects its Spirit award winner by tallying single votes cast by each of the 64 NAPA distribution centers. Each distribution center’s general manager sends in a vote with a letter of nomination to the company’s management team. The votes are reviewed at the company’s headquarters and approved by its board of directors.

NAPA CHASSIS is a leading supplier of brake and chassis system components supplying the automotive aftermarket through more than 6,000 NAPA AUTO PARTS stores nationwide.
